by Michael Mott

“I was making the rounds at the chalk mine”, writes Michael Mott, “when I found Bertrand making a few oohs and ouches behind the shed. Upon investigation I had found him stuggling with this - it seems that someone had left an old roll of barbed wire some time ago.”

I took a piece of the exact same onion netting that Steve posted the picture of, cut it with scissors, rolled it around a dowel, sprayed it with some old brown spray can paint (enamel) and - because it looked too glossy - sprayed it again with some spray fixative, dropped it into a small glass jar with about 1/4 of real rust dust (more stuff I collect) and a small metal nut (the nut acts in the same way as the steel ball in a spray can).

Shook it up for a few seconds … done!
