These photographs show a scratchbuilt plasticard body on a Model Power Plymouth DDT chassis.
The body style is loosly based on a ‘Rushton Hornsby’ type industrial diesel. I know that this manufacturer produced engines for 18″ gauge, so they could, in theory, have gone to 15″.
This is my first attempt at building in this excellent scale. Little extras include ‘O’ scale diesel air horns, the oil container in the cab is a 1/32 scalelink WW1 British Army rum jar.
The driver is ‘Jon’ from Supply Line Miniatures.
Finish is with humbrol enamels dry brushed.
