Ever need a filler to quickly fill a hole or gap, here is a real quick one. Very simple, just a mixture of superglue/ACC/CA and either talc or a powdered plaster filler.
I find the gel type of superglue is easier to use and gives a little more time to work with. Just mix the two together into a paste on a scrap of non-absorbant material - I use the backing paper from sticky labels.
Place a small pool of glue on the sheet then draw a little of the powder into it and mix together. A pin mounted in an Exacto knife handle is ideal for mixing and applying, but keep a piece of tissue handy to clean the pin as, if the filler starts to get tacky on the pin, it will pull the filler out rather than applying it. Only mix a small amount at a time - it sets up in minutes.
Slightly overfill then use a sharp knife to slice off the excess after allowing to set for 5 - 10 minutes or, if you prefer to file to shape, best allow about 20 - 30 minutes. It doesn’t show that well in photos, but hopefully these will give you an idea.
