“Found a 4 wheel switcher and built a ‘Basic’ body. … Crude but effective. The one shot shows the components with the engineer waiting for us to put it back together. The other is shown with some of the workers and buildings. I have not permanently set anything up yet - just working on components. I figure I’ve got a multi year project on my hands. By the way the engine was the only cost - the rest came out of my ’stash’. I’ll get some Ozark dress up parts and couplers in the future. All I’m going to have is a couple of disconnects for logs, two flats for lumber and a bench seat on a car for passengers”.

What I like about these shots are the temporary figures Ed’s used to get a sense of scale. Very nice idea (and I like the faces!)
