The Lister Rail Truck was designed by Auto Mower Engineering. Lister bought the design and started selling them in 1926 using 1 and 2 cylinder petrol engines from J.A. Prestwich (J.A.P.). After the mid 50`s the Lister company used air cooled 1 and 2 cyclinder diesel engines in the rail trucks. Lister sold 10000 rail trucks with over 3000 different variations.

This model is my variation of a 1 cylinder petrol engine model which runs on a cutdown Bachmann On30 Trolley mechanism (not included).

The kit costs seventy Canadian dollars (plus another eight for postage) and the Paypal button to the left is the quickest and easiest one to order.
