Welcome to Gn15.info
Yes, there’’s been a small change to the look and feel of the site - hopefully for the better. We still have all your favourites from the old site plus a few more and hope you will spend many an hour here (as long as it doesn”t interfere with your modelling, of course).
We’ve added a News section for all those ”coming soon” messages from our friends in the trade (items will only appear in the Trade Showcase when they”re actually available!)
The Questions and Answers section still aims to answer all your questions about Gn15 - if not, let us know and we”ll try to get an answer for you!
The About 15″ gauge page gives some background info on the “real thing”, including info on some existing 15″ gauge railways.
We’ve split the old projects section into three - Prototype plans for - not surprisingly - plans of prototype vehicles, Hints & Tips and the Projects themselves. Do take a look at all three sections, as you never know when inspiration with strike.
We hope to add to our crop of articles over time - can you help with this? If so, please check out our contributions section.
As well as showcasing the excellent modelling being done by Gn15ers across the world - and now in more detail - we”ve also got a growing section of what’s available from the trade as more and more manufacturers are seeing the light - it’s never too early and you’re never too old to write your list for Santa!
If you’re still stuck for inspiration, why not take a look at other modellers’ layouts or find out when there’s going to be some Gn15 at a show near you?
As if this wasn’t enough, we have information on mailing lists and other websites of interest as well as - last but by no means least - our own forum/message board.
If we’ve missed anything obvious please let us know, either by email or - even better - via the message board.
As before, this site can only ever be as good as its contributions and we remain exceptionally grateful to all those modellers who’ve already shared their work with us, as well as those who’ve yet to do so.
Please join in and, above all, have fun (and once you’ve had your fun, send us a photo!)
